About us
We are a Danish/German family with four daughters living in Berlin. I am an IT entrepreneur and my wife is a textile artist (you will find some of her work in the villa). We have been in love with France since we met here almost 30 years ago, and we have made one of your biggest dreams come true by buying this beautiful villa in 2023 and renovating it to our dreams.
The idea was to create a place where people could meet, share ideas and be inspired by this beautiful view and the great wild nature that surrounds the house (although it is quite close to the village).
Now we open our doors and invite you to spend some special moments in our home.

History
Several hundred years ago, the backland of Nice and the area around Grasse and Tourrettes-sur-Loup was primarily agricultural. Villa Paloma stands on a large plot of land where violets were grown for the perfume production in Grasse. Today, little remains of this period, except for an old well and numerous stone terraces used for cultivation. The forest and nature have reclaimed the grounds and have become home to many wild animals and plants. Villa Paloma itself was built on this enchanting plot in the 80's by the architect (and our neighbour) Mr. Milan.
Renovation

We fell in love with this architect's villa with its clean, almost modern lines, yet classic stone walls and Provençal charm. We have gently modernised the house with Scandinavian influences without losing its original charm, opening it up on one side with a glass facade to give you a view of the enchanted old oak forest where, if you're lucky, you can see our deer and stag passing by in the morning.
